Spring Creek Timber Frame Cottage

Custom Built Timber Frame Home

This beautiful home is a custom white pine timber frame cottage with river rock stone and cedar siding. It uses SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) for the walls and roof.

The cottage was built on piers to be above the 100-year flood level to meet building code requirements.

Interesting fact: initial house footing excavation encountered buried cars! It turns out that back in the old day cars were crushed and buried along the creek banks to help “stabilize” the creek banks. Approximately 10 crushed cars were found in the house footprint excavation. This required a large excavation of 50’ x 20’ deep to remove the cars and get to virgin soil.
