Caney Fork Barn Project

Barn Restoration and Remodel in Marshall, NC

Red Shed Woodworks disassembled the original early 1900 barn, built a new foundation, and stick framed the new structure. The foundation was oversized to accept the old logs as a nonstructural veneer.

The upper framing was sided with the original barn siding, and was built to be used as a studio. The lower rooms were not finished, but were designed for future living space.

The new structure looks very similar to the original barn and will last another 100 years or more.
