Custom Built Home in Madison County, NC

The Chapel Hill Rd. Residence is an off-grid, all SIPS house (Structural Insulated Panels) which includes all walls and roof. This houseis in the far reaches of Madison County, where it was very challenging build because the road into the property was steep and narrow. The build required trucks transporting the SIPS panels and a crane to erect them. The house is completely off grid with solar power and hydro power from a nearby small creek.
